This is an original, rolled, thirty by forty movie poster from 1974 for a theatrical re-release of Gone with the Wind. The film stars Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland, Leslie Howard, Hattie McDaniel, and Thomas Mitchell. Victor Fleming directed the classic Civil War drama. Howard Terpning is the artist for the poster. The poster measures 30" x 40" and is in very good condition with some scattered surface creases, mostly along the sides, from previous handling. It has never been folded. Thirty by forty posters were printed on slightly thicker paper stock compared to one-sheet posters. Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1974 to promote a theatrical re-release of Gone with the Wind, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
